Bernice N. Mansfield

BERNICE N. MANSFIELD, age 82 of New Paris, Ohio died Monday, February 3, 2003 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, Ohio. Born on April 27, 1920 in St. Mary’s, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late George E. & Hazel Della (Rutledge) Wright. She retired in 1989 as an Apartment Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio. Member of the New Westville Friends Church in New Westville, Ohio. Preceded in death by her Husband: Charles E. Mansfield, Jr. in 1993 and a Granddaughter: Juanita Statzer in 1954 and a Grandson: John E. Statzer in 1993.

Survived by Sons: Terry Mansfield of Bear, Delaware and Dale F. Mansfield of New Paris, Ohio; Daughters: Shirley Hughes of Lebanon, Tennessee and Elaine Taylor of Cookeville, Tennessee; Brother: Kenneth Wright of Piqua, Ohio. Fifteen Grandchildren, Twenty- Three Great Grandchildren and Eight Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2003 - 11:00 A.M. at Barnes Funeral Home- 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Gilmer Smith officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, Ohio. The Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2003 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
