Bernard Lee "Buddy" Pugh

Bernard Lee "Buddy" Pugh, 68, of New Paris, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. Born on March 12, 1945 to George & Frances (Kessler) Pugh. A 1963 graduate of Jefferson High School in New Paris, OH. Buddy served in the US Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He had worked at Wayne Dairy.

Buddy enjoyed spending time with his family and working on crossword puzzles and making leather goods for his family. He always had a story to share and a smile for everyone.

Survivors include his father, George Egbert Pugh; brothers, Bill (Jean), Ben (Chris) and Bob (Anne); several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Pugh. Buddy will be missed by his family and many friends.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St., New Paris, OH with Rev. John Parks officiating with visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, OH with military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
