Bernard Brown

BERNARD BROWN, passed away in Miamisburg on February 15 at age 92. Born on November 13, 1923 to William H. Brown and Adele Ruman Brown in Bridgeport, CT. Retired from Citizens Federal Savings & Loan in 1986 as an Assistant Vice President. Bernie volunteered for many years at Miami Valley Hospital. He was a S/SGT in WWII in the US Army Air Force having served in the China Burma & India theatre and on Tinian Island in the Northern Mariannas. He was a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of Millennium Lodge 779 F&AM. He was preceeded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mary Kathryn "Kay" Brown in 2008 and by his daughter Vicki L. Brown Kohen in 2003 as well as his parents.

Survived by his daughter Susan K. Brown, Centerville, OH, by his grandson Christopher Najpaver and his fiancé Danielle Mollere of Memphis, TN. Also survived by his niece, Lisa Reasoner of The Woodlands, TX and by his nephew Judge Joe Burrowes and his wife Sue of West Richland, WA. Burial will take place at the family plot at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Eaton, OH.
