Barry Clutter

Barry Clutter, 60, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 7, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Josephine Clutter, mother in law Maxine Hendrickson, and beloved brother Larry Clutter.

Barry leaves behind his wife of 40 years Linda Hendrickson Clutter, his son Barry Matthew Clutter (Heather) of Englewood OH and his daughter Christa Clutter of Eaton OH. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren whom he cherished with all his heart, Erik, Ridge, and Kaitlyn Clutter of Englewood OH; father in law Bronell Hendrickson of Eaton; siblings Michael Clutter, Sherry Powell (Larry), Barbara Cummings (Mark), and Mary Jo Clutter; in laws Stephen Hendrickson (Gwen), Dianne Oxley, and Elizabeth Marlatt (Brian); as well as his beloved nieces and nephews.

Barry loved the Lord, his family, and all his many friends. He served as a deacon since age 22 at First Baptist Church Vandalia and First Southern Baptist Church Camden where he taught Sunday school and worked in Children's ministry for many years until MS forced him to slow down. But even then he did not stop serving his Lord. He ministered where he could and how he could.

Barry Clutter was an inspiration to all who met him. He impacted many lives and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know and love him.

The last part of his journey he was helped along the way by Hospice of Dayton where God sent angels of mercy to minister to him. The family would like to thank them for taking care of him and allowing the family to spend time with their husband, father, and grandfather. Your gift to them is immeasurable.

The family is asking that donations be made to Hospice of Dayton so other families can also have the same gift they were given.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at First Southern Baptist Church, 35 North Liberty St., Camden, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Greg F. Jackson officiating. Interment will be held at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the service at the church.
