Barbara Knapke Eggers

Barbara Ann (Will) Knapke Eggers, 68, of Eaton, OH died Monday, December 15, 2008 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, following a brief bout with cancer. Born on April 1, 1940 in St. Sebastian, OH she was the daughter of the late George and Hilda (Bruns) Will. Preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Dr. Donald G. Knapke in 2001 and brother: Charles Will in 2000. Barbara remarried in 2005 and is survived by her husband: Erich Eggers, daughter: Angela Knapke of Cincinnati, OH; son: Frederick Knapke of Zaleski, OH; step-son & daughter-in-law: Erich L. & Kelly Eggers of Centerville, OH; step-Daughter & son-in-law: Susan & Bill Muenchow of Columbus, OH; sister: Roselyn Bruns and brother: Roger Will.

She worked as a home health aid and was a member of St. John Catholic Church in New Paris, OH. She was a graduate of Marion Local High School and the Community Hospital School of Nursing in Springfield, OH. She enjoyed life's simple pleasures more than most of us.

Family will receive friends on Friday, December 19, 2008 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton, OH. Funeral mass will follow at 10:30 AM at the church with Rev. J. Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating. Interment will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery - West Alexandria, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati - c/o Bethesda Foundation, Inc. P.O.
