Archie E. Gulley

Archie E. Gulley, age 83 of Lewisburg, Ohio died Monday, February 18, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Born on March 3, 1924 in Fleming County, Kentucky he was the son of the late John P. & Odie Mae (Green) Gulley. Archie was a W.W. II Army veteran and retired from Frigidaire Corporation in Dayton after 30 years of service. He has lived in Preble County since 1969 and was a member of the Local 801 and the V.F.W. of Lewisburg. Preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Dixie Mae (Hall) Gulley in 1999.

Survived by sons & daughter-in-law, Larry Todd Gulley and Archie E. Jr. & Sue Gulley both of Columbus, OH and Howard E. Gulley of Lewisburg; Daughter & Son-in-law, Glenna J. & Buddy Whited of Hilliard, OH; Brother, Doug Gulley of Columbus, OH; 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; nephews, nieces & cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, with Rev. Dave Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
