Annabel F. Bullen

Annabel F. Bullen 84, of Eaton, OH died Friday, March 20, 2009 in her home at the Suites of Greenbriar in Eaton, OH. Born on April 7, 1924 in Preble County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late James & Orva (McDonald) Weist and has lived in Preble County most all of her life. She was a graduate of Camden High School and the Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing. She had worked at the Preble County Department of Health for several years. Member of Eaton Church of The Brethren and active member of the Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing Alumni. Preceded in death by her husband of 44 years James E. Bullen in 1993, Brother Jim Weist in 1979.

Survivors include sons & daughter-in-law: James M.& Jennifer Bullen of Centerville, IN and James C. & Paula Bullen of Fremont, CA; Daughters & sons-in-law: Mary A. Bullen & partner Polly Kroneberger of Camden, OH; Vicki & Steve Brown of Eaton, OH, Selina Bullen of Tucson, AZ, Dee & Bruce Kaiser of West Alexandria, OH; foster son: Carl Gentry of Middletown, OH; Brothers: Donald Weist of Eaton, OH and Joe Weist of Carlisle, OH; Grandchildren: Jesse Moreland, Josh Moreland, Tasha Copley, Kyle Copley, Blake Kaiser, Heather Brown Beatty, Nathan Brown, Ashley Bullen, Brandon Bullen, James K. Bullen, Brenda Lutz, Nicole Myron, Danny Bullen, Cory Ball, Jimmy E. Bullen, Hailey Bullen, Shelby Sinkler, Tammy Cloud, and John Paul Techmeyer. Great Grandchildren: Haylee Moreland, Levi Moreland, Isaac Moreland, Michael Beatty, Annabel Beatty, Lucy Beatty, Gabbi Brown, Alex Brown, Gavinn Brown, Kody Sortman, Tre Lutz, Tori Lutz, Kiersten Myron, and Alex Cloud; and her beloved cat Felix.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Eaton Church of The Brethren - Camden Road - Eaton, OH with Rev. Martin Peacock officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, OH. Family will receive friends on Monday, March 23, 2009 from 4 to 8 PM at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio and one hour prior to the service at the church.
