Anna Jane Hildebolt, age 87, of Friend’s Fellowship Community in Richmond, Indiana, and formerly of Eaton, Ohio, died Sunday, January 29, 2006 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on March 25, 1918, in Eaton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry & Blanche (Eby) Flory. She graduated from Eaton High School in 1936, Miami University in 1939 with her Provisional, 1967 BS in Education, and 1969 MA in Guidance & Counseling. She was Kappa Delta Pi in 1969 from Miami University Honor Society in Education. She taught school from 1939 to 1986 in the preble county and montgomery county school systems. Member of the First Presbyterian Church of Eaton, Ohio and an honorary life member of the Eaton Country Club, avid golfer and loved playing the piano and organ. She is preceded in death by her husband: Richard Hazen Hildebolt in 1979; sister: Bessie Flory; brother: Eugene Flory.
Survived by her son & daughter-in-law: William “Bill” M. & Sandra D. Hildebolt of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; sons: Richard “Dick” H. Hildebolt of Eaton, Ohio and James “Jim” A. Hildebolt of Boardman, Ohio; daughter & son-in-law: Mary Ann & Christopher Brackins of Pinnacle, North Carolina; sister: Mary Jeanette Flory Rohe Yost of Richmond, Indiana; brother-in-law & wife: Charles “Scooter” F. & Louise Hildebolt of St. Louis, Missouri; Grandchildren: William “Bodie” H. & Daphne Hildebolt of New York, New York, Joseph R. Hildebolt of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Brian Hildebolt of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Steve Hildebolt of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, John & Aleah Hildebolt of Eaton, Ohio, Christina Brackins of Pinnacle, North Carolina, and Hazen Brackins of Pinnacle, North Carolina. Great Grandchildren: Hannah and Hazen Hildebolt of New York, NY; Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church - 123 West Decatur Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Wayne Morrison officiating. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 2, 2006 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio.
Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Mound Hill Union Cemetery -533 West Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Wayne Morrison officiating.
