ANDREW I. WYSONG, age 79, of New Paris, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 2, 2004 at New Paris, Ohio. Born on November 29, 1924 in Eaton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Clarence A. & Margaret E. (Taylor) Wysong. He retired after 33 years at the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a World War II veteran who serving in the U.S. Navy. Life member of the American Legion Post 360 in New Paris, Ohio and life member of the Amvets of Eldorado, Ohio. He was also an avid Deer Hunter and Fisherman all his life. Preceded in death by Brother: Oscar and Sister: Gladys.
Survived by loving Wife of 59 years: Josephine (Hornsby) Wysong; Son & Daughter-in-law: Robert J. & Garnet Wysong of Eaton, Ohio; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Beverly J. & Gayle Settles and Carol & Terry Plankenhorn both of New Paris, Ohio; Brother & Sister-in-law: Albert & Evelyn Wysong of Richmond, Indiana; Sister & Brother-in-law: Emma & Carl Houser of Centerville, Indiana; Five Grandchildren: Mike Plankenhorn, Andrea Cassel, Robert “Bobby” Wysong Jr., Greg Swallow, and Kimberly Clark; 13 Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Reid Hospital Foundation - Hospice Unit - 1401 Chester Blvd. - Richmond, Indiana 47374.
