Amy Jo Cook

Amy Jo (Buell) Cook, 49, of Eaton, Ohio, died Friday, July 30, 2021, at Sycamore Hospital in Miamisburg, Ohio. She was born on October 6, 1971, in Hamilton, Ohio and was a 1990 graduate of Eaton High School. Amy graduated from Ivy Tech Community College in Richmond, Indiana where she received an Associate Degree. Amy worked for many years as a Medical Associate for Family Health in Greenville, Ohio and most recently was a waitress for Bob Evan’s Restaurant in Eaton. Amy loved her family and friends, and her greatest joy came from spending time with them.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, Ted J. Buell in 2001; brother, Theodore Buell in 2017 and her stepfather, Mike Myers in 2012.

She is survived by her mother, Martha R. “Marty” (Whitis) Myers; sons and daughter-in-law, Tony (Ciara) Baker and Mitchel Engle; daughters, Shelby Engle, and Madalyn Engle; sisters and brothers-n-law, Samantha (Brandon) Keller and Mary (Vernardo Brown) House; grandchildren, Addie, Emberly, Everly, Destiny, Autumn, and Samuel; nieces and nephews.

Inurnment in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton will be announced later in the week.  Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home-Eaton Chapel.
