Alvin K. Lewis

Alvin K. Lewis, 73, of West Manchester, OH died on Monday, August 3, 2015 in Greenfield, Indiana. Alvin was born on January 21, 1942 in Overton County, Tennessee, son of the late Charlie & Dorothy (Cargill) Lewis. He retired from Proctor and Gamble after many years of service. Alvin proudly served in the US Army from 1960 to 1966.

Alvin is survived by his children, Alan W. Lewis of Arcanum, Ohio, Larry G. Lewis of West Manchester, Ohio and Shana Lewis of Lewisburg, Ohio; brother & sister-in-law, James & June Lewis of Tennessee; grandchildren, Megan, Dalton, Braeden, Marshall, Nevada and Phoenix; great grandchildren, Gage, Garrett, Rozalin and Ryder.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, August 7, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, Ohio.

Interment will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
