Allen Eugene Shaeffer

Allen Eugene Shaeffer, age 67, of Eaton, Ohio, died on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at his residence.  Born on August 1, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Paul Franklin “Frank” & Joyce Ann (Eby) Shaeffer.

Allen worked at L&M Products in Eaton, Ohio for 47 years.  He loved tractors, fire trucks and ambulances, especially anything that had flashing lights and trains was his favorite.

Preceded by his brother, Paul James “Jim” Shaeffer; sister-in-law, Ayesha Shaffer.

Survived by his brother & sister-in-law, Michael & Debbie Shaeffer of New Paris, Ohio; sisters & brothers-in-law, Deborah Ann & Kevin Gardner of Canton, Georgia and Diana L. & Lyle Graham of Jefferson, Ohio; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.  

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Pastor Gary Sollenberger and Pastor Michael Shaeffer officiating.  Interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio.  Family will receive from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.   Condolences at www.barnesfuneralhome.com
