Alice Mae Hageman

Alice Mae Hageman, age 97, of Eaton, Ohio and formerly of Riverside, California, died Sunday, July 29, 2007 at The Greenbrier Nursing Center in Eaton. Born on August 14, 1909 in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Frederick & Charlotte (Forsythe)Dietiker. Alice and her husband William resided and worked in Preble County prior to their move to Riverside in 1949. Alice was a bookkeeper for Hageman’s Rehabilitation Equipment in Riverside and attended the United Methodist Church in Riverside where she participated in the Christian Women’s Club. She was an election poll worker in California for many years.

Preceded in death by her Husband: William W. Hageman in 1998; Son: Fred Hageman in 1999; Daughter: Leah H. Riggle in 2005; Grandson: Thomas Riggle, Jr. in 1982; Six brothers and Five sisters.


She is survived by Grandchildren: Renee (Ed) Miller, Linda (Len) Jones, Barbarie (Gerry) Gonzalez, Denise (Robert) Sorg and Alesha (Anthony) Holmes; Thirteen Great Grandchildren. Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 3, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Nein - Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio followed by a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at the Somerville Cemetery in Somerville, Ohio with Rev. Wes Brubaker officiating.
