Alice Jean Winkler

Alice Jean Winkler, age 86, of New Paris, OH, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 2, 2018.  Born on December 10, 1931 in Brookville, Indiana, daughter of the late Gilbert Albert & Doris Murial (Apsley) Haselwander.  A 1949 graduate of Brookville High School in Indiana.  Jean worked for Deca Records in Richmond, IN and was a baby sitter.  Jean worked for a Demo company and did her Demo Work in Walmart & Kmart.  Jean also was a volunteer at the Preble County Pork Festival.  Member of the First United Methodist Church in Richmond, IN.  She loved getting out of the house and meeting people and made friends very easily.  

Preceded by her Husband of 45 years, Vernon Winkler; Brother, Donald Duane Haselwander; Sister, Marianne Newcomer; Grandchildren, Jason, Kim and Lee.  

Survived by her Daughters, Cynthia Ann (Thomas) Delucio and Sarah Jo Coffey; Son, Larry Ray (Lois) Winkler; Grandchildren, Amber, Lisa, Beth, T.J. and Justin; Great Grandchildren, Kaitlynne, Trey, Amelia and Gabe.  

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 W. Main Street, New Paris, OH.  Interment held at Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.  Condolences may be sent via www.barnesfuneralhome.com
