Alice B. Fugate

Alice B. Fugate, 92, of Lewisburg, OH, died Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on April 12, 1926 in Preble County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Frank P. and Fannie (Wysong) McClellan. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Englewood. 

Preceded in death by her Husband: Wilgus Fugate in 1977; Daughter: Ramona M. Fugate in 1977; Son: Herbert Leroy “Lee” Vardaman, Jr. in 2004; Siblings: Robert E. McClellan in 1938, Catherine Elizabeth McClellan in 1931, Roy Clifford McClellan in 1992, Mildred Plyley in 1996, Margaret Wise in 1982, Effie Mae Zumbrun in 2006, James V. McClellan in 2007, Mary Louise Baker in 2011, Beryl George McClellan in 1988 and Earl Edward McClellan in 2008. 

Survived by Sons: Larry (Cheryl) Fugate and Gary Fugate; Brother: John McClellan; Grandchildren: Joseph & David Fugate, Kevin & Harley Vardaman; 5 Great Grandchildren: Triston, Harley Jr., Sam, Marek and Jemimah. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. 

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, OH with Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, OH. Family will receive friends on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 6 – 8 P.M. at the funeral home and one hour prior to service on Tuesday.
