Alberta L. Rohling Muth

ALBERTA L. ROHLING-MUTH, age 93 formerly of Eaton, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007. Born on September 9, 1914 in Melbourne, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Catherine (Centner) Schoech. A former resident of Eaton, Alberta lived in Lakengren and Deer Trail. She was a member of the Visitation Catholic Church and the St. Ann’s Sodality both of Eaton. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald C. Rohling in 1961; her second husband, Howard W. Muth in 1988; brother, Martin Schoech; sisters: Marie Schreck, Elizabeth Nunner, Margaret Calhoun and Dorothy Arnzen.

She is survived by her children and spouses: Theodore A. & Mary Ann Rohling of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joseph P. & Suzanne Rohling of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Ann M. & Timothy Kreusch of Gladwin, Michigan and Michael L. & Patricia Rohling of Long Island, New York; Step children: William (Mary) Muth, Robert (Sandra) Muth, Dorothy (Joseph) Dupont, Eden Prairie, Minnesota and Barbara (Jerry) Pepper, Escondido, California; Twenty- Four grandchildren and Twenty- nine great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 22, 2007 at the Visitation Catholic Church, 407 E. Main St., Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Rev. J. Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 21, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home-220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio.
