Alberta K. "Bert" Getter

Alberta Kay “Bert” Getter, 67 of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Saturday, December 30, 2023 at her residence. Born on August 18, 1956 in Xenia, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Vannon E. “Bob” Sr. and Bonita G. (Fannin) Robbins. Bert worked for Emery Freight for 20 years and had also worked for FRAM in Greenville. She was a 1974 Twin Valley North High School graduate and was an avid Bingo player and Steelers fan. She loved her “Sisters” trips along with sewing, fishing, and cooking.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Sister: Sylvia Landis; Brother-in-law: Jerry Getter; Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law: Jill (Mike) Penix.

She is survived by her Husband of 47 years: Jack R. Getter: Children: Jeris W. Getter; Siblings: Bonnie (Steve) Scott, Debra (Bob) Brill, Connie Aikman, Bev (Jim) Hargis, Bud (Robin) Robbins, Randy (Bev) Robbins, Jeff (Tracy) Robbins; Brothers-In-Law & Sisters-In-Law: Mike Landis, Denise Getter, Mick (Suggar) Getter. Nieces, nephews, a host of friends along with her beloved fur babies.

The Public is welcome to attend a Graveside Service at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 5, 2024 in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg. Arrangements Entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Lewisburg, Ohio.
