Mildred Ann Blankenship

Mildred Ann Blankenship, 80, of Lewisburg, OH, died, Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Dayton, OH. Born on September 1, 1937 in Montgomery County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Silas & Mildred (Davison) Protzman. Mildred was a 1956 graduate of Lewisburg Union High School, attended the Lewisburg First United Church of Christ, sang in the choir at Trinity Lutheran Church and was a seamstress for many years. 

Preceded in death by Son: Robin Wayne Blankenship in 1962; Brothers: Robert F. and David L. Protzman; Daughter-in-law: Darla (Marker) Blankenship. 

Survived by her Husband of 61 years: Roger S. Blankenship, Sr.; Children: Roger S. “Bud” (Martie) Blankenship, Jr., Daniel E. “Dan” (Lisa) Blankenship, Vicki Lynn (Kip) Gilmer and Mary Ann Phelps; 20 Grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
